K.J. Choi Finishes 2nd on PGA Tour with SuperStroke Grip

K.J. Choi continued his hot streak with his second straight 2nd place finish Sunday at the Transitions Championship on the PGA Tour.

This week at Innisbrook Resort, a place where Choi has won twice in his career, he was back to top form on the greens. He ranked 2nd in Putts Per GIR for the tournament and averaged 27.3 putts per round for a 5th place ranking. He shot 69-69-67-67 (-12) for the event, earning $583,200. His 300 FedEx Points earned from the 3nd place finish catapulted him from 60th to 17th in the FedEx Point standings.

Choi also finished 2nd at the Maybank Malaysian Open three weeks ago using the jumbo grip that measures 1.67 inches in diameter.
