SuperStroke Grips Lead KJ Choi and Former Major Winner vs. Tough Greens at Bay Hill

 

KJ Choi and a former major champion played SuperStroke putter grips en route to T6th and T3rd finishes, respectively, at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard on the PGA Tour Sunday.

Choi, a SuperStroke staff player and winner of three PGA Tour events with a SuperStroke grip, placed T6th at Bay Hill Club & Lodge. He ranked in the Top 10 in Putts Per GIR for the event with his jumbo putter grip designed to enhance a pendulum stroke. It was Choi's best finish of the year and his second Top 10 finish of the season. He currently ranks 37th in the FedEx Cup standings and has earned $632,249 this season.

A former PGA Championship winner finished T3rd with a SuperStroke Slim putter grip at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The LSU graduate had his best finish of the year while earning his 2nd Top 5 finish of 2011 with a SuperStroke Slim grip. The 12-time winner on the PGA Tour ranked T13th in Putts Per Round for the event with the oversized grip he has been using since finishing 2nd at the 2010 Wyndham Championship. He currently ranks 52nd in the FedEx Cup standings.
