SuperStroke Fatso Posts Win at the FedEx St. Jude Classic
June 14, 2011
SuperStroke Golf helped a PGA Tour veteran earn his first win on the PGA Tour in Memphis, TN. Switching to a SuperStroke Fatso in his 355th PGA event, the Texas native finished the tournament leading the field in Putts per GIR and T1 in Total Birdies for the week. This victory jumped him over 100 spots in the Fed Ex Cup points race, from 178th to 40th.
"I never thought it would happen, to be honest," the player said. "The last couple years have been hard and long."
The Fatso, 1.67” in diameter, has now helped claim 2 wins in the last 5 weeks, the other being K.J. Choi’s victory at The Players Championship in Florida. By relaxing the hands and engaging the shoulders, the SuperStroke line of jumbo putter grips are quickly becoming relied upon on all pro tours worldwide.
